**Summary:**
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1389 of 28 September 2020, published in the Official Journal of the European Union L 321 on October 5, 2020, officially registers "Olio lucano" as a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). This regulation follows Article 52(2) of Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 concerning quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs. The application to register "Olio lucano" was initially published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ C 172, 20.5.2020, p. 22). As no objections were received, the Commission adopted this regulation to include "Olio lucano PGI" in the register, classifying it under Class 1.5 (Oils and fats (butter, margarine, oil, etc.)), as defined in Annex XI to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 668/2014. The regulation entered into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and is binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States. The regulation was enacted in Brussels and signed by Janusz Wojciechowski, Member of the Commission, on behalf of the President.
