Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2024/1270 8.5.2024 COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2024/1270 of 7 May 2024 correcting Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2466 laying down rules for the application of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards marketing standards for eggs THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013 establishing a common organisation of the markets in agricultural products and repealing Council Regulations (EEC) No 922/72, (EEC) No 234/79, (EC) No 1037/2001 and (EC) No 1234/2007(1), and in particular Article 90a(6), point (c), and Article 91, first subparagraph, points (b), (f) and (g), thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2466(2), which lays down rules for the implementation of marketing standards for certain eggs, contains several errors and omissions. (2) In all language versions of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2466, Article 8 and Article 9(5) includes a reference to Articles 4, 5 and 6 of that Implementing Regulation. Since Article 4 of that Implementing Regulation concerns the marking of eggs and has no reference to records, Article 8 and Article 9(5) of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2466 should instead refer to Articles 5, 6 and 7 of that Implementing Regulation. (3) In the German language version of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2466, Article 9(1) is missing a reference to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2465(3). (4) In the Italian language version of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2466, recitals 1 and 6 and articles 2, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are missing references to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2465. (5) In all language versions of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2466, Article 10(3) is missing a reference to Part VI of Annex VII to Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013. (6) Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2466 should therefore be corrected accordingly.
