(8) The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Committee for the Common Organisation of the Agricultural Markets, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION: Article 1 Amendments to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/761 Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/761 is amended as follows: (1) in Article 42, the sixth paragraph is replaced by the following: ‘In accordance with the Interim Agreement on Trade between the European Union and the Republic of Chile approved by Council Decision (EU) 2024/3016(*), tariff quota is open for imports into the Union of beef subject to the conditions laid down in this Regulation. _____________ (*) Council Decision (EU) 2024/3016 of 18 March 2024 on the conclusion, on behalf of the European Union, of the Interim Agreement on Trade between the European Union and the Republic of Chile (OJ L, 2024/3016, 20.12.2024, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2024/3016/oj).’; (2) Article 67 is replaced by the following: ‘Article 67 Tariff quotas In accordance with the concessions made in the framework of the World Trade Organisation approved by Decision 94/800/EC, tariff quotas for imports into the Union in the egg sector and for egg albumin are open, subject to the conditions laid down in this Regulation. In accordance with the Interim Agreement on Trade between the European Union and the Republic of Chile, tariff quota with the order number 09.4403 for imports into the Union from Chile in the egg sector is open, subject to the conditions laid down in this Regulation. For each tariff quota, the volume of products, the order number and the import tariff quota period and sub-periods are specified in Annex XI to this Regulation.’; (3) in Article 68, the following paragraph 6 is added: ‘6. The conversion factors laid down in Annex XVI, Part Aa shall be used to convert product weight into shell egg equivalent for the tariff quota with order number 09.4403.’; (4) Annexes I, VIII, XI and XVI are amended in accordance with Annex I to this Regulation. For the tariff quota period 2024 (1 July 2024to 30 June 2025), the quantity to be used for tariff quota with order number 09.4181 is 4 004 167kg (product weight). For the tariff quota period 2024 (1 July 2024to 30 June 2025), the above quantity to be used for tariff quota with order number 09.4181 is deducted by the cumulated quantity for which licences have been issued between 1 July 2024 and 31 January 2025under this tariff quota. 2. For the tariff quota period 2025, the quantity to be used for tariff quota with order number 09.4403 is the pro rata quantity calculated for the proportion starting from the entry into application of this Regulation until the end of that tariff quota period. 3. The licences issued before the entry into application of this Regulation for tariff quota 09.4181 shall remain valid until the end of their validity period. 4. For the tariff quota period 2025, the quantity to be used for tariff quota with order number 09.1945, is the pro rata quantity calculated for the proportion starting from the entry into application of this Regulation until the end of that tariff quota period. For the tariff quota period 2025, the above quantity to be used for tariff quota with order number 09.1945 is deducted by the cumulated quantities which were released for free circulation between 1 January 2025and 31 January 2025under tariff quotas with order numbers 09.1921 and 09.1944. 5. For the tariff quota period 2025, the quantity to be used for tariff quotas with order numbers 09.2115, 09.2116 and 09.1922, is the pro rata quantity calculated for the proportion starting from the entry into application of this Regulation until the end of that tariff quota period. For the tariff quota period 2025, the above quantity to be used for tariff quotas with order numbers 09.2115, 09.2116 and 09.1922 is deducted by the cumulated quantity which was released for free circulation between 1 January 2025and 31 January 2025under those tariff quotas. 6. For the tariff quota period 2025, the quantity to be used for tariff quota with order number 09.1946, is the pro rata quantity calculated for the proportion starting from the entry into application of this Regulation until the end of that tariff quota period. For the tariff quota period 2025, the above quantity to be used for tariff quota with order number 09.1946 is deducted by the cumulated quantity which was released for free circulation between 1 January 2025and 31 January 2025under tariff quota with order number 09.1923. 7. For the tariff quota period 2025, the quantity to be used for tariff quota with order number 09.1947, is the pro rata quantity calculated for the proportion starting from the entry into application of this Regulation until the end of that tariff quota period. For the tariff quota period 2025, the above quantity to be used for tariff quota with order number 09.1947 is deducted by the cumulated quantity which was released for free circulation between 1 January 2025and 31 January 2025under tariff quota with order number 09.1925. 8. For the tariff quota period 2025, the quantity to be used for tariff quota with order number 09.1955, is the pro rata quantity calculated for the proportion starting from the entry into application of this Regulation until the end of that tariff quota period. Article 4 Entry into force and application This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
