Council Decision (CFSP) 2020/664 of 18 May 2020 amending Decision (CFSP) 2019/2110 on the European Union CSDP Advisory Mission in the Central African Republic (EUAM RCA)
This Council Decision (CFSP 2020/664) amends Decision CFSP 2019/2110 regarding the European Union Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) Advisory Mission in the Central African Republic (EUAM RCA). The amendment extends the period of validity for the initial financial reference amount of EUR 7,100,000 to cover expenditures related to EUAM RCA until 8 August 2020. This extension is due to delays in the launch of EUAM RCA as a result of circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic, requiring further preparations. The Political and Security Committee agreed to the two-month extension on 16 April 2020. The decision was adopted by the Council on 18 May 2020 and entered into force on the date of its adoption. The financial reference amount for any subsequent period shall be decided by the Council.
