Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2025/2353 21.11.2025 COUNCIL DECISION (CFSP) 2025/2353 of 20 November 2025 amending Decision (CFSP) 2022/1093 on an assistance measure under the European Peace Facility to support the Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 28(1) and Article 41(2) thereof, Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Whereas: (1) On 30 June 2022, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2022/1093(1) which established an assistance measure under the European Peace Facility to support the Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova. (2) The delivery of certain specific equipment to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova is delayed until beyond the end date of the implementation period of Decision (CFSP) 2022/1093, requiring the implementation period of that Decision to be extended by 12 months from 17 December 2025 to 17 December 2026. (3) Decision (CFSP) 2022/1093 should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 In Article 1 of Decision (CFSP) 2022/1093, paragraph 4 is replaced by the following: ‘4. The duration of the assistance measure shall be 48 months from the date of conclusion of the first contract between the administrator for assistance measures, acting as authorising officer, and the entities referred to in Article 4(2) of this Decision in accordance with article 32(2), point (a), of Decision (CFSP) 2021/509.’.
