Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2026/1396 22.6.2026 COUNCIL DECISION (CFSP) 2026/1396 of 22 June 2026 amending Decision (CFSP) 2023/2135 concerning restrictive measures in view of activities undermining the stability and political transition of Sudan THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 29 thereof, Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Whereas: (1) On 9 October 2023, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2023/2135(1). (2) On 28 April 2026, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Committee established pursuant to UNSC Resolution 1591(2005) added four persons to the list of persons subject to restrictive measures. (3) On 7 May 2026, the Council adopted Implementing Decision (CFSP) 2026/1049(2) adding three of those four persons to the list of persons and entities set out in the Annex to Council Decision 2014/450/CFSP(3). (4) On 22 June 2026, the Council adopted Implementing Decision (CFSP) 2026/1390(4) adding the fourth person to the list of persons and entities set out in the Annex to Decision 2014/450/CFSP. (5) The entry for that fourth person should therefore be deleted from the list of natural persons set out in the Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2023/2135. (6) Decision (CFSP) 2023/2135 should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 In the Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2023/2135, under the heading ‘A. List of natural persons referred to in Article 1(1) and in Article 2(1)’, the following entry is deleted: ‘14. Algony Hamdan DAGALO MUSA’. Article 2 This Decision shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. Done at Luxembourg, 22 June 2026.
