Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2026/1837 27.7.2026 COUNCIL DECISION (CFSP) 2026/1837 of 24 July 2026 amending Decision (CFSP) 2023/1532 concerning restrictive measures in view of Iran’s military support to Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and to armed groups and entities in the Middle East and the Red Sea region as well as Iran’s actions undermining freedom of navigation in the Middle East THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 29 thereof, Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Whereas: (1) On 20 July 2023, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2023/1532(1). (2) On the basis of a review of Decision (CFSP) 2023/1532, the restrictive measures set out therein should be renewed until 27 July 2027. (3) The Council has concluded that the entries concerning four persons listed in Annex I to Decision (CFSP) 2023/1532 should be deleted from that Annex. (4) Decision (CFSP) 2023/1532 should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 Decision (CFSP) 2023/1532 is amended as follows: (1) in Article 10, the date ‘27 July 2026’ is replaced by ‘27 July 2027’; (2) Annex I is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Decision.
