Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 106/2026 of 20 March 2026 amending Annex XX (Environment) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1229]

Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2026/1229 25.6.2026 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEENo 106/2026 of 20 March 2026 amending Annex XX (Environment) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1229] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/792 of 24 April 2025 on the publication of a list indicating certain CO emissions values per manufacturer as well as average specific CO emissions of all new heavy-duty vehicles 2 2 registered in the Union pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/1242 of the European Parliament and of the Council for the reporting period of the year 2022(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex XX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following point is inserted after point 21azkae (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/1786) of Annex XX to the EEA Agreement: ‘21azkaf. 32025 D 0792: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/792 of 24 April 2025 on the publication of a list indicating certain CO emissions values per manufacturer as well as average specific CO emissions of all 2 2 new heavy-duty vehicles registered in the Union pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/1242 of the European Parliament and of the Council for the reporting period of the year 2022 (OJ L, 2025/792, 25.4.2025).’ Article 2 The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/792 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 21 March 2026, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).
