Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2023/2263 9.11.2023 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 110/2023 of 28 April 2023 amending Protocol 47 to the EEA Agreement, on the abolition of technical barriers to trade in wine [2023/2263] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/68 of 27 October 2021 amending Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/934 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards authorised oenological practices(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/841 of 24 May 2022conferring protection under Article 99 of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the name ‘Bolandin’ (PDO)(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (3) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/842 of 24 May 2022conferring protection under Article 99 of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the name ‘Abadía Retuerta’ (PDO)(3)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (4) This Decision concerns legislation regarding wine. Legislation regarding wine shall not apply to Liechtenstein as long as the application of the Agreement between the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on trade in agricultural products is extended to Liechtenstein, as specified in the seventh paragraph of the introduction to Protocol 47 to the EEA Agreement. This Decision is therefore not to apply to Liechtenstein. (5) Protocol 47 to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 Appendix I to Protocol 47 to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows: 1. The following indent is added in point 8e (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/934): ‘- 32022 R 0068: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/68 of 27 October 2021(OJ L 12, 19.1.2022, p. 1).’ 2. The following points are inserted after point 8q (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1915): ‘8r. 32022 R 0841: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/841 of 24 May 2022 conferring protection under Article 99 of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the name ‘Bolandin’ (PDO) (OJ L 148, 31.5.2022, p. 21). 8s. 32022 R 0842: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/842 of 24 May 2022 conferring protection under Article 99 of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the name ‘Abadía Retuerta’ (PDO) (OJ L 148, 31.5.2022, p. 22).’ (1) OJ L 12, 19.1.2022, p. 1.
