THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98
thereof,
Whereas:
(1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1898 of 20 July 2021 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1700 of
the European Parliament and of the Council by specifying the number and titles of the variables for the use of
information and communication technologies statistics domain for reference year 2022(1)is to be incorporated into
the EEA Agreement.
(2) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/167 of 3 November 2022 amending Delegated Regulation
(EU) 2020/256 establishing a multiannual rolling planning(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(3) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/297 of 31 October 2023 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1700
of the European Parliament and of the Council by specifying the number and the titles of the variables for the health
domain(3)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(4) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1223 of 27 July 2021 specifying the technical items of the data
set, establishing the technical formats for transmission of information and specifying the detailed arrangements and
content of the quality reports on the organisation of a sample survey in the use of information and communication
technologies domain for reference year 2022 pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/1700 of the European Parliament
and of the Council(4)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(5) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/2094 of 28 October 2022 specifying the technical items of data
sets, establishing the technical formats for transmission of information and specifying the detailed arrangements and
content of the quality reports on the organisation of a sample survey in the consumption domain pursuant to
Regulation (EU) 2019/1700 of the European Parliament and of the Council(5) is to be incorporated into the EEA
Agreement.
(6) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2527 of 17 November 2023 specifying technical items of the data
sets for the 2025 ad hoc subject on Energy and the environment in the income and living conditions domain
pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/1700 of the European Parliament and of the Council(6)is to be incorporated into
the EEA Agreement.
(7) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2529 of 17 November 2023 specifying the technical items of the
data set, establishing the technical formats for transmission of information and specifying the detailed arrangements
and content of the quality reports on the organisation of a sample survey in the health domain pursuant to
Regulation (EU) 2019/1700 of the European Parliament and of the Council(7) is to be incorporated into the EEA
Agreement.

(8) Annex XXI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
Annex XXI to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:
1. The following indent is added in 18qe (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/256):
‘— 32023 R 0167: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/167 of 3 November 2022 (OJ L 24,
26.1.2023, p. 3).’
2. The following points are inserted after point 18qy (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1797):

Article 2
The texts of Delegated Regulations (EU) 2021/1898, (EU) 2023/167 and (EU) 2024/297 and Implementing Regulations
(EU) 2021/1223, (EU) 2022/2094, (EU) 2023/2527 and (EU) 2023/2529 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be
published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 9 May 2025, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA
Agreement have been made(*).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European
Union.
