THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98
thereof,
Whereas:
(1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/3166 of 18 December 2024 concerning the renewal of the
authorisation of a preparation of Bacillus velezensis ATCC PTA-6737 as a feed additive for turkeys for fattening,
turkeys reared for breeding, weaned piglets, weaned Suidae other than Sus scrofa domesticus, and sows, its
authorisation for pigs for fattening of all Suidae species, suckling piglets of all Suidae species and sows of minor
Suidae species (holder of authorisation: Kemin Europa N.V.), amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/366
and repealing Implementing Regulations (EU) No 306/2013, (EU) No 787/2013 and (EU) 2017/2276(1) is to be
incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(2) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/3162 of 18 December 2024 concerning the authorisation of ferric
tyrosine chelate as a feed additive for all poultry species for fattening, all poultry species reared for laying, and turkeys
and minor poultry species reared for breeding (holder of authorisation: Akeso Biomedical, Inc. USA, represented in
the Union by Pen & Tec Consulting SLU)(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(3) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/3167 of 18 December 2024 concerning the authorisation of
cyanocobalamin (vitamin B ) produced with Ensifer adhaerens CGMCC 19596 as a feed additive for all animal

species(3)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(4) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/3168 of 18 December 2024 concerning the authorisation of a
preparation of zinc-L-selenomethionine as a feed additive for all animal species(4)is to be incorporated into the EEA
Agreement.
(5) Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/3166 repeals Commission Implementing Regulations (EU) No 306/2013(5),
(EU) No 787/2013(6) and (EU) 2017/2276(7), which are incorporated into the EEA Agreement and which are
consequently to be repealed under the EEA Agreement.
(6) This Decision concerns legislation regarding feedingstuffs. Legislation regarding feedingstuffs shall not apply to
Liechtenstein as long as the application of the Agreement between the European Community and the Swiss
Confederation on trade in agricultural products is extended to Liechtenstein, as specified in the sectoral adaptations
to Annex I to the EEA Agreement. This Decision is therefore not to apply to Liechtenstein.
(7) Annex I to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
Chapter II of Annex I to the EEA Agreement is amended as follows:
1. The following is added in point 485 (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/366):
‘, as amended by:
— 32024 R 3166: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/3166 of 18 December 2024 (OJ L,
2024/3166, 19.12.2024).’
2. The following points are inserted after point 618 (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2414):

3. The texts of points 80 (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 306/2013), 99 (Commission Implementing
Regulation (EU) No 787/2013) and 234 (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2276) are deleted.
Article 2
The texts of Implementing Regulations (EU) 2024/3166, (EU) 2024/3162, (EU) 2024/3167 and (EU) 2024/3168 in the
Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union,
shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 14 June 2025, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA
Agreement have been made(*).
