standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2025/1825]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98
thereof,
Whereas:
(1) Commission Regulation (EU) 2025/140 of 29 January 2025 amending Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 1334/2008 of
the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the inclusion of (E)-3-benzo[1,3]dioxol-5-yl-N,N-diphenyl-
2-propenamide in the Union list of flavourings(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(2) Commission Regulation (EU) 2025/146 of 29 January 2025 amending Annexes II and III to Regulation (EC)
No 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards maximum residue levels for zoxamide in or
on certain products(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(3) Commission Regulation (EU) 2025/147 of 29 January 2025 amending Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 1334/2008 of
the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the removal of the flavouring substance 4-Methyl-
2-phenylpent-2-enal (FL No 05.100) from the Union list(3)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(4) Commission Regulation (EU) 2025/158 of 29 January 2025 amending Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of
the European Parliament and of the Council as regards maximum residue levels for acetamiprid in or on certain
products(4)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(5) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/153 of 29 January 2025 authorising the placing on the market of
Lemna minorand Lemna gibbaplants as novel food and amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2470(5)is to
be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(6) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/167 of 30 January 2025 authorising the placing on the market of
glucosyl hesperidin as a novel food and amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2470(6)is to be incorporated
into the EEA Agreement.
(7) Commission Regulation (EU) 2025/195 of 3 February 2025 amending Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of
the European Parliament and of the Council as regards maximum residue levels for fenbuconazole and penconazole
in or on certain products(7)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(8) This Decision concerns legislation regarding feedingstuffs and foodstuffs. Legislation regarding feedingstuffs and
foodstuffs shall not apply to Liechtenstein as long as the application of the Agreement between the European
Community and the Swiss Confederation on trade in agricultural products is extended to Liechtenstein, as specified
in the sectoral adaptations to Annex I and the introduction to Chapter XII of Annex II to the EEA Agreement. This
Decision is therefore not to apply to Liechtenstein.
(9) Annexes I and II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

Article 2
Chapter XII of Annex II to the EEA Agreement is amended as follows:

Implementing Regulations (EU) 2025/153 and (EU) 2025/167 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published
in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 4
This Decision shall enter into force on 14 June 2025, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA
Agreement have been made(*).

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European
