Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2026/1482 23.7.2026 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEENo 144/2026 of 30 April 2026 amending Annex IX (Financial services) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1482] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/73 of 4 July 2025 amending Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2178 as regards the simplification of the content and presentation of information to be disclosed concerning environmentally sustainable activities and Delegated Regulations (EU) 2021/2139 and (EU) 2023/2486 as regards simplification of certain technical screening criteria for determining whether economic activities cause no significant harm to environmental objectives(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex IX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 Annex IX to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows: 1. The following indent is added in points 31pa (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2139) and 31pb (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2178): ‘— 32026 R 0073: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/73 of 4 July 2025 (OJ L, 2026/73, 8.1.2026).’ 2. The following is added in point 31pc (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2486): ‘, as amended by: — 32026 R 0073: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/73 of 4 July 2025 (OJ L, 2026/73, 8.1.2026).’ Article 2 The text of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/73 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 1 May 2026, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).
