Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2026/1532 23.7.2026 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEENo 155/2026 of 30 April 2026 amending Annex XXI (Statistics) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1532] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/1901 of 29 October 2021 implementing Regulation (EC) No 1338/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards statistics on health care expenditure and financing(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex XXI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following is inserted after point 18of (Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/2294) of Annex XXI to the EEA Agreement: ‘18og. 32021 R 1901: Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/1901 of 29 October 2021 implementing Regulation (EC) No 1338/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards statistics on health care expenditure and financing (OJ L 387, 3.11.2021, p. 110). The Regulation shall, for the purposes of this Agreement, be read with the following adaptations: The following paragraph is added in Article 3: “Liechtenstein is exempted from providing the data series day curative care (HC.1.2) and day rehabilitative care (HC.2.2) and day long-term care (HC.3.2) separately. Day curative care (HC.1.2) is included in outpatient curative care (HC.1.3), day rehabilitative care (HC.2.2) is included in outpatient rehabilitative care (HC.2.3) and day long- term care (HC.3.2) is included in outpatient long-term care (HC.3.3). Liechtenstein is exempted from providing data series HF.2.3 (enterprise financing schemes).”.’ Article 2 The text of Regulation (EU) 2021/1901 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
