Whereas:
(1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/481 of 3 March 2026 amending Implementing Regulation
(EU) 2022/1426 laying down rules for the application of Regulation (EU) 2019/2144 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards uniform procedures and technical specifications for the type-approval of the automated driving system of fully automated vehicles(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(2) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1 The following is added in point 52e (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1426) of Chapter I of Annex II to
the EEA Agreement: ‘, as amended by: — 32026 R 0481: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/481 of 3 March 2026 (OJ L, 2026/481, 4.3.2026).’ Article 2 The text of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/481 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 6 June 2026, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).
Article 4 This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
