Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2024/1557 27.6.2024 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 17/2024 of 2 February 2024 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2024/1557] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/932 of 8 May 2023 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 as regards the approval period of the active substance pyridalyl(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/939 of 10 May 2023 withdrawing the approval of the active substance ipconazole in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council, amending Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 and repealing Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 571/2014(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (3) Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/939 repeals Implementing Regulation (EU) No 571/2014(3), which is incorporated into the EEA Agreement and which is consequently to be repealed under the EEA Agreement. (4) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 Chapter XV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows: 1. The following indents are added in point 13a (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011): ‘— 32023 R 0932: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/932 of 8 May 2023(OJ L 124, 10.5.2023, p. 4), — 32023 R 0939: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/939 of 10 May 2023 (OJ L 125, 11.5.2023, p. 19).’ 2. The following point is inserted after point 13zzzzzzzzzzzzzk (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/515): ‘13zzzzzzzzzzzzzl. 32023 R 0939: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/939 of 10 May 2023 withdrawing the approval of the active substance ipconazole in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council, amending Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 and repealing Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 571/2014 (OJ L 125, 11.5.2023, p. 19).’ 3. The text of point 13zzzzd (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 571/2014) and the 116th indent (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 571/2014) in point 13a (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011) are deleted.
