Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 171/2026 of 5 June 2026 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2026/2006]

Whereas:

(1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/351 of 18 February 2026 renewing the approval of the active substance spinosad in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council and amending Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011(1), as corrected by OJ L, 2026/90291, 17.4.2026, is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

(2) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/355 of 18 February 2026 renewing the approval of the active substance pyrimethanil in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council and amending Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011(2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

(3) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/398 of 18 February 2026 amending Implementing Regulation

(EU) No 686/2012 as regards the allocation to Member States, for the purposes of the renewal procedure, of the evaluation of metconazole and quinolin-8-ol(3)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

(4) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Chapter XV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement is amended as follows:

1. The following indents are added in point 13a (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011): ‘— 32026 R 0351: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/351 of 18 February 2026 (OJ L, 2026/351,

19.2.2026), as corrected by OJ L, 2026/90291, 17.4.2026, — 32026 R 0355: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/355 of 18 February 2026 (OJ L, 2026/355,

19.2.2026).’

2. The following points are inserted after point 13zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzr (Commission Implementing Regulation

(EU) 2026/312): ‘13zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzs. 32026 R 0351: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/351 of 18 February 2026 renewing the approval of the active substance spinosad in accordance with Regulation

(EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council and amending Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 (OJ L, 2026/351, 19.2.2026), as corrected by OJ L, 2026/90291, 17.4.2026.

3. The following indent is added in point 13zzze (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 686/2012): ‘— 32026 R 0398: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/398 of 18 February 2026 (OJ L, 2026/398,

19.2.2026).’ Article 2 The texts of Implementing Regulations (EU) 2026/351, as corrected by OJ L, 2026/90291, 17.4.2026, (EU) 2026/355 and

(EU) 2026/398 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 6 June 2026, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).

Article 4 This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
