Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98

Whereas:

Whereas:
(1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/2620 of 30 July 2024 supplementing Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the requirements for considering that greenhouse gases have become permanently chemically bound in a product(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(2) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2493 of 23 September 2024 amending Implementing Regulation
(EU) 2018/2066 as regards updating the monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions pursuant to Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council(2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(3) Annex XX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
Annex XX to the EEA Agreement is amended as follows:
1. The following point is inserted after point 21aly (Commission Decision (EU) 2024/2951): ‘21alz. 32024 R 2620: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/2620 of 30 July 2024 supplementing Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the requirements for considering that greenhouse gases have become permanently chemically bound in a product (OJ L, 2024/2620, 4.10.2024).’
2. The following indent is added in point 21apj (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/2066): ‘— 32024 R 2493: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2493 of 23 September 2024 (OJ L, 2024/2493, 27.9.2024).’ Article 2 The texts of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/2620 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2493 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 12 July 2025, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).
