Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2024/305 8.2.2024 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 206/2021 of 9 July 2021 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2024/305] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/98 of 28 January 2021 not approving esbiothrin as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-type 18(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/103 of 29 January 2021 not approving carbon dioxide as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-type 19(2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (3) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following points are inserted after point 12zzzzzzr (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2020/1765) of Chapter XV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement: ‘12zzzzzzs. 32021 D 0098: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/98 of 28 January 2021 not approving esbiothrin as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-type 18 (OJ L 31, 29.1.2021, p. 214). 12zzzzzzt. 32021 D 0103: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/103 of 29 January 2021 not approving carbon dioxide as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-type 19 (OJ L 34, 1.2.2021, p. 31).’ Article 2 The texts of Implementing Decisions (EU) 2021/98 and (EU) 2021/103 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 10 July 2021, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made*.
