Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2025/235 20.2.2025 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 239/2024 of 25 October 2024 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2025/235] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1681 of 6 March 2024supplementing Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council by establishing classes of performance in relation to the resistance to fire of construction products(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1681 repeals Commission Decision 2000/367/EC(2), which is incorporated into the EEA Agreement and which is consequently to be repealed under the EEA Agreement. (3) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The text of point 1zu (Commission Decision 2000/367/EC) of Chapter XXI of Annex II to the EEA Agreement is replaced by the following: ‘32024 R 1681: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1681 of 6 March 2024 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council by establishing classes of performance in relation to the resistance to fire of construction products (OJ L, 2024/1681, 13.6.2024).’ Article 2 The text of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1681 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 26 October 2024, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).
