DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 279/2023

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98

Whereas:
(1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/423 of 24 February 2023 on a pilot project to implement the administrative cooperation provisions relating to regulated professions set out in Directives 2005/36/EC and
(EU) 2018/958 of the European Parliament and of the Council by means of the Internal Market Information System and to integrate the database of regulated professions into that system(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(2) Annex VII to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1 The following point is inserted after point 1d (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/907) of Annex VII to the EEA
Agreement: ‘1e. 32023 D 0423: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/423 of 24 February 2023 on a pilot project to implement the administrative cooperation provisions relating to regulated professions set out in Directives 2005/36/EC and (EU) 2018/958 of the European Parliament and of the Council by means of the Internal Market Information System and to integrate the database of regulated professions into that system (OJ L 61,
27.2.2023, p. 62).’ Article 2 The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/423 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 28 October 2023, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).
