Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2024/1404 13.6.2024 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 315/2023 of 8 December 2023 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2024/1404] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/464 of 3 March 2023amending, for the purpose of its adaptation to technical progress, the Annex to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 laying down test methods pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/470 of 2 March 2023 not approving d-Allethrin as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-type 18 in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (3) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/471 of 2 March 2023postponing the expiry date of the approval of 4,5-Dichloro-2-octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one for use in biocidal products of product-type 8 in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council(3)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (4) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 Chapter XV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows: 1. The following indent is added in point 12zza (Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008): ‘— 32023 R 0464: Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/464 of 3 March 2023(OJ L 68, 6.3.2023, p. 37).’ 2.
