Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 75/2026 of 20 March 2026 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1324]

Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2026/1324 25.6.2026 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEENo 75/2026 of 20 March 2026 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1324] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/843 of 5 May 2025 amending Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards UV-328(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/1399 of 5 May 2025 amending Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), its salts and PFOA-related compounds(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (3) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following indents are added in point 12w (Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 of the European Parliament and of the Council) of Chapter XV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement: ‘— 32025 R 0843: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/843 of 5 May 2025 (OJ L, 2025/843, 15.7.2025), — 32025 R 1399: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/1399 of 5 May 2025 (OJ L, 2025/1399, 14.7.2025).’ Article 2 The texts of Delegated Regulations (EU) 2025/843 and (EU) 2025/1399 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 21 March 2026, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).
