Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 80/2026 of 20 March 2026 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1308]

Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2026/1308 25.6.2026 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEENo 80/2026 of 20 March 2026 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1308] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1489 of 24 July 2025 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 as regards the extension of the approval periods of the active substances ametoctradin, Beauveria bassiana strains ATCC 74040 and GHA, buprofezin, clodinafop, copper compounds, cyflumetofen, daminozide, flupyradifurone, Helicoverpa armigera nucleopolyhedrovirus, mandestrobin, mandipropamid, metam, pyraclostrobin, rescalure, Spodoptera littoralis nucleopolyhedrovirus, Streptomyces lydicusstrain WYEC 108, Trichoderma asperellum strain T34 and Trichoderma atroviridestrain I-1237(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2027 of 9 October 2025 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 as regards the approval period of the active substance penthiopyrad(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (3) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following indents are added in point 13a (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011) of Chapter XV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement: ‘— 32025 R 1489: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1489 of 24 July 2025 (OJ L, 2025/1489, 25.7.2025), — 32025 R 2027: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2027 of 9 October 2025 (OJ L, 2025/2027, 10.10.2025).’ Article 2 The texts of Implementing Regulations (EU) 2025/1489 and (EU) 2025/2027 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 21 March 2026, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).
