Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 84/2026 of 20 March 2026 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1286]

Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2026/1286 25.6.2026 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEENo 84/2026 of 20 March 2026 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1286] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/526 of 21 March 2025 designating a Union testing facility for electromagnetic compatibility in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 of the European Parliament and of the Council(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following point is inserted after point 3vd (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2024/1456) of Chapter XIX of Annex II to the EEA Agreement: ‘3ve. 32025 D 0526: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/526 of 21 March 2025 designating a Union testing facility for electromagnetic compatibility in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 of the European Parliament and of the Council (OJ L, 2025/526, 25.3.2025).’ Article 2 The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/526 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 21 March 2026, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*), or on the day of the entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 317/2023 of 8 December 2023(2), whichever is the later.
