Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 92/2026 of 20 March 2026 amending Annex IX (Financial services) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1240]

Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2026/1240 25.6.2026 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEENo 92/2026 of 20 March 2026 amending Annex IX (Financial services) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1240] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/789 of 23 April 2025 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to regulatory technical standards specifying the conditions and indicators that the EBA is to use to determine whether extraordinary circumstances in the sense of Article 325az(5) and Article 325bf(6) of that Regulation have occurred(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex IX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following point is inserted after point 14azzu (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/3172) of Annex IX to the EEA Agreement: ‘14azzv. 32025 R 0789: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/789 of 23 April 2025 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to regulatory technical standards specifying the conditions and indicators that the EBA is to use to determine whether extraordinary circumstances in the sense of Article 325az(5) and Article 325bf(6) of that Regulation have occurred (OJ L, 2025/789, 1.8.2025).’ Article 2 The text of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/789 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 21 March 2026, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).
