Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2026/1270 25.6.2026 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEENo 95/2026 of 20 March 2026 amending Annex IX (Financial services) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1270] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/595 of 9 November 2023 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to regulatory technical standards specifying the materiality of weaknesses, the type of information collected, the practical implementation of the information collection and the analysis and dissemination of the information contained in the Anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing (AML/CFT) central database referred to in Article 9a(2) of that Regulation(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex IX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following point is inserted after point 31g (Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council) of Annex IX to the EEA Agreement: ‘31ga. 32024 R 0595: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/595 of 9 November 2023 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to regulatory technical standards specifying the materiality of weaknesses, the type of information collected, the practical implementation of the information collection and the analysis and dissemination of the information contained in the Anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing (AML/CFT) central database referred to in Article 9a(2) of that Regulation (OJ L, 2024/595, 16.2.2024).’ Article 2 The text of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/595 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 21 March 2026, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*), or on the day of the entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 88/2026 of 20 March 2026(2), whichever is the later.
