Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2024/240 10.1.2024 Information note regarding the entry into force of the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Madagascar and the Implementing Protocol thereto (2023-2027) Following signature on 30 June 2023, the European Union and the Republic of Madagascar notified on 11 December 2023 and 12 December 2023respectively, that they had finalised their internal procedures to conclude the Agreement and the implementing Protocol(1). Therefore, the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreement and the implementing Protocol thereto between the European Union and the Republic of Madagascar enters into force on 12 December 2023 pursuant to Article 17(1) of the Agreement and Article 18(1) of the Protocol.
