The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions has announced the winners of the National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) 2025. Nineteen projects and initiatives were selected across six award categories, comprising 10 Gold, 6 Silver, and 3 Jury Awards. This year marks the inclusion of the Gram Panchayats category, recognizing advancements in service delivery at the grassroots level through digitization.
The awards recognize and promote excellence in the implementation of e-governance initiatives. The six categories include government process reengineering through technology, AI innovation for citizen-centric services, cybersecurity innovation, grassroots initiatives, replication of successful projects, and digital transformation through data analytics.
Gold Award winners receive a trophy, certificate, and ₹10 lakh incentive, while Silver Award winners receive a trophy, certificate, and ₹5 lakh incentive, to be used for project implementation or public welfare initiatives. The awards ceremony will take place during the 28th National Conference on e-Governance.

1. National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) are presented every year to recognize and promote

include the Gram Panchayats category for the first time, recognising deepening and widening of service
