(cid:316)ೕೕ(cid:317)ರ್ಕೆ ಮತುತ್ ಪಪಾರ್ರಂಭ:- (1) ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಗಳನುನ್ ಕನಾರ್ರ್ಟಕ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸೇವಾ (ಸಪ್ಧಧಾರ್ತಮ್ಕ ಪರೀೕ(cid:271)ೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ನೇರರ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಮಮತುತ್ ಆಯೆಕ್) (ಸಾಮಾನಯ್) (ತಿದುದ್ಪಡಿ) ನಿಯಯಮಗಳು, 20020 ಎಂದು ಕರರೆಯತಕಕ್ದುದ್. (2) ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಅಧಿಕೃತ ರರಾಜಯ್ಪತರ್ದ(cid:313)ಲ್ ಅಂತಿಮ ಪರ್ಕಕಟಣೆಯ ದಿನಾಾಂಕದಿಂದ ಜಾರಿರಿಗೆ ಬರತಕಕ್ದದುದ್. 12 2. ನಿಯಮ 5ಕೆಕ್ ತಿದುದ್ಪಡಿ:- ಕನಾರ್ಟಕ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸೇವಾ (ಸಪ್ಧಾರ್ತಮ್ಕ ಪರೀ(cid:271)ೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ನೇರ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಮತುತ್ ಆಯೆಕ್) (ಸಾಮಾನಯ್) ನಿಯಮಗಳು, 2006ರ ನಿಯಮ 5ರ ಖಂಡ (1)ರ ನಂತರ ಈ ಕೆಳಕಂಡ ಪರಂತುಕವನುನ್ ಸೇರಿಸತಕಕ್ದುದ್ :- “ಪರಂತು, ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳಡಿ ಆಯೆಕ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಗೂರ್ಪ್ “ಎ” ಅಥವಾ “ಬಿ” ಹುದೆದ್ಗ(cid:314)ಗೆ ಸಂದಭಾರ್ನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಸಂದಶರ್ನವನುನ್ ನಡೆಸುವ ಅಗತಯ್(cid:315)ಲಲ್ವೆಂದು ನಿಣರ್ಯಿ(cid:318)ದ(cid:313)ಲ್, ಸಕಾರ್ರವು ಅಂತಹ ವಗರ್ದ ಹುದೆದ್ಗ(cid:314)ಗೆ ಸಂದಶರ್ನದಿಂದ (cid:315)ನಾಯಿತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಅಧಿಸೂಚಿಸಬಹುದು”. ಕನಾರ್ಟಕ ರಾಜಯ್ಪಾಲರ ಆದೇಶಾನುಸಾರ ಮತುತ್ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರಿನ(cid:313)ಲ್, (ಗಾಯತಿರ್. ಎಂ.ಆರ್.) ಸಕಾರ್ರದ ಅಧೀನ ಕಾಯರ್ದ(cid:316)ರ್ (cid:318)ಬಬ್ಂದಿ ಮತುತ್ ಆಡ(cid:314)ತ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ (ಸೇವಾ ನಿಯಮಗಳು-1) GOVERNMENT OF KARNATAKA NO: DPAR 63 SCR 2019 Karnataka Government Secretariat, Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore, Dated: 28.02.2020 NOTIFICATION Whereas the draft of the Karnataka Civil Services (Direct Recruitment by Competitive Examinations and Selection) (General) (Amendment) Rules, 2020was published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 read with Section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) in Notification No. DPAR 63 SCR 2019 dated: 22.01.2020 in Part IV-A of the Karnataka Gazette Extraordinary dated: 22.01.2020 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby within fifteen days from the date of publication of the draft in the Official Gazette. Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to the public on 22.01.2020. And whereas, objections and suggestions received have been considered by the State Government. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 read with Section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules, namely; RULES 1. Title and Commencement.-(1)These rules may be called the Karnataka Civil Services (Direct Recruitment by Competitive Examinations and Selection) (General) (Amendment) Rules, 2020.R.N.I. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 3 (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette. 2. Amendment of rule 5.- In the Karnataka Civil Services (Direct Recruitment by Competitive Examination and Selection) (General) Rules, 2006, in rule 5, after clause (1), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided that, where the Government is of the opinion that interview or viva-voce need not be conducted in respect of any Group-A or Group-B posts to be selected under these rules, the Government may by notification exempt such category of posts from conducting interview or viva-voce as the case may be.” , before notifying vacancies.” By Order and in the name of the Governor of Karnataka (GAYATHRI.M.R.)
