Order No. 5/2026/349/94-2-2026-700(14)/2026 Lucknow; Dated : 10 April, 2026 In exercise of the powers under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Act No. 2 of 1899), as amended from time to time in its application to the State of Uttar Pradesh, the Governor is pleased to remit, from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the stamp duty, in accordance with the provisions of “The Uttar Pradesh Global Capability Centres Policy, 2024”, chargeable in relation to the instruments shown in column-4, for the purposes described in column-2, to the extent mentioned in column-3 of the Schedule below.

terms and conditions :- 1- District Magistrate of the concerned district or Deputy Commissioner, District Industries Centre shall confirm in the instrument that the deed is being executed under the Uttar Pradesh Global Capability Centres Policy, 2024 and shall also sign as a witness for the said purpose.

The validity period of the bank guarantee should be minimum up to more than one year than the eligible investment period for the GCC units.

3- The provisions mentioned in this notification shall remain in force from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette till the effective period of the aforesaid policy. In case, the said policy comes to end, by any means, the remission granted under this notification shall be considered to be revoked by itself from the date of the withdrawal of the said policy.
