Draft Rules 1. Title and Commencement.- (1) These rules shall be called the Karnataka Panchayat Raj (Reservation of Seats in Gram Panchayats on Rotation) (Amendment) Rules, 2026. Amendment of Rule 1.- In the Karnataka Panchayat Raj (Reservation of Seats in Gram Panchayats on Rotation) Rules, 1998 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in Rule 1, the words “Panchayat Raj” shall be substituted with the words “Gram Swaraj and Panchayat Raj”. 3.
