Implementation Aspects (Inferred):** * **Responsible Agency:** The Ministry of Railways is ultimately responsible for the project. The Additional District Magistrate (Finance/Revenue), Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh, handles local implementation and objection resolution. * **Timelines:** A 30-day period is provided for landowners to raise objections following the notification's publication. * **Procedures:** The procedure involves submitting written objections to the competent authority, who then conducts a hearing and makes a final decision. The land details are made available for inspection at the competent authority's office. **8. Expected Outcomes / Impact of Changes:** The intended outcomes of this land acquisition policy are: * **Land Acquisition:** Successful acquisition of the identified land parcels in the Chandauli district. * **Project Advancement:** Facilitation of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor project by providing the necessary land for execution, maintenance, management, and operation. * **Efficient Freight Transportation:** Improved and dedicated infrastructure for freight transportation, presumably contributing to economic growth and efficiency. * **Potential Disputes:** Resolving conflicts related to the land acquisition through the formal objection mechanism that has been established. **9. Conclusion:** The notification outlines a crucial step in acquiring land for the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor project within the Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh.
