उक्त भूजम म ेंरुजच रखिेर्ाला कोई भी व् यजि, िासकीय रािपत्र म ेंअजधसूचिा के प्रकािि की तारीख स े30 (तीस)
कदिों की अर्जध के भीतर उक्त अजधजियम की धारा 20घ की उपधारा (1) के तहत उपयुवक्त प्रयोिि के जलए ऐसी भूजम के
अजधग्रहण और उपयोग पर आपजत्त कर सकता ह ै।

NOTIFICATION
Kolkata, the 24th June, 2025
S.O. 2866(E).— In exercise of Power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act,1989
(24 of 1989), Chapter IV-A (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that
for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the schedule below, is required for execution,
maintenance, management and operation of “Buramara-Chakulia (59.96 Km.) new line” as “Special Railway Project”
(39.70 Km. section) in the district of East Singhbhum in the state of Jharkhand, hereby declares its intension to acquire
such land.
Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of the
notification in the official Gazette, object, under sub-section (1) of the section 20D of the said Act to the acquisition
and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose.
Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, viz. District Land Acquisition Officer, East
Singhbhum, Jharkhand, in his office located at the office of the Deputy Commissioner Cum District Magistrate, East
Singhbhum, P.O: Sakchi, PIN– 831001, Jharkhand in writing, and shall set out the grounds thereof and Competent
Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may,
after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks
necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections as per Sub-Section (2) of section 20D of the said Act.
Any order made by the District Land Acquisition Officer, East Singhbhum, Jharkhand - cum-Competent
Authority under Sub-Section (2) of section 20D of the said Act shall be final.
The land plans & the other details of the land covered under notification are available and can be inspected by
the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent Authority.
