MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South East Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Bilaspur, the 9th February, 2026 Notification Under Section 20E of the Railway Act 1989 S.O. 679(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, In the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) number 5330, dated 28/11/2025, published in the Gazette of India (Extra-Ordinary) Part-II section 3 sub section (ii), hereinafter referred to as the said notification) under subsection (1) of 20A of the railway act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution of Special Railway Project, namely “Bilaspur Division: - Elimination of Level crossing No. BK-107 in Jhalwara yard by provision of Light ROB.” in the state of Madhya Pradesh.[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 And, whereas, the substance of the said notification Number 5330, dated 28/11/2025, was published in the daily newspapers, Pradesh Today (Hindi) Katni edition, Hitavada (English) Jabalpur edition and Hari-Bhoomi (Hindi) Jabalpur edition on 11.12.2025 under sub-section (4) of Section 20A of the said Act, And whereas, no objection was received within the set time period. And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (I) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted his report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section I) of Section 20E of the said Act, 1989, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances, A. “Bilaspur Division: - Elimination of Level crossing No. BK-107 in Jhalwara yard by provision of Light ROB.” Brief description for the acquisition. 1.
