Dy.CE/Con/North/BSP/Chirmiri – Nagpur Road Halt/] fot; dqekj lkgw, eq[; iz'kklfud vf/kdkjh ¼fuekZ.k½ MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South East Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Bilaspur, the 18th November, 2025 NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 20E of THE RAILWAY ACT 1989 S.O. 5286(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, In the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) Notification Number 4083, dated the 16 Sept 2025, published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part-II, section 3, sub-section (ii), (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) under sub-section (1) of 20A of the Railway Act 1989(24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act),the central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution of Special Railway Project Chirmiri- Nagpur Road Halt Railway project (17.00Km.) (Pink Book No.-9 of 2018-19), in the state of Chhattisgarh. (i) 20(E) Notification No. 3834 dated 27.08.2025 had been issued earlier, in which certain errors were found in the names of the owners in this regard, the office of the Competent Authority has issued a letter No 6666/vi- Dys./Hkw-vtZu/okpd/2025fnukad: 31.10.2025, The said errors are now being rectified, and the notification is being republished accordingly. (ii) And, whereas the substance of notification No.4083 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act was published in the daily Newspapers Dainik Bhaskar, Bilaspur (Hindi)Edition, Samay Kranti, Baikunthpur (Hindi) Edition, The Central Chronicle, Raipur (English)Edition and CG Frant Line, Sarguja (Hindi) Edition on 09.10.2025. By the prescribed date, No objections were received in the office of the Competent Authority vide letter no 6666/vi- Dys./Hkw-vtZu/okpd/2025fnukad: 31.10.2025 And whereas, in pursuance of subsection (1) of section 20E of the said act, the Competent Authority has submitted his report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (1) of the section 20E of the Railway Act 1989, the central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; and, further, in pursuance of subsection (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed here to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 7 1.
