S.O. 3538(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of the Railways
(Amendment) Act, 2008 the Central Government hereby notifies “Howrah Division - 40 Nos Elimination of Level
Crossing of DFC route by ROB/RUBs on Indian Railway - DKAE-KAN HBC Chord line” as a Special Railway
Project for acquisition of land in Purba Bardhaman, Hooghly and Howrah Districts in the State of West Bengal, for
providing national infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the
Official Gazette.
