Bilaspur, the 18th October, 2025
In the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Railway, South East Central Railway,
No. S.O. 5335(E), published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii) No. 4937
dated the 10th of December, 2024 is as under —
S.O. 4911(E).— In exercise of power conferred by clause 7A of section 2 of the Railway (Amendment) Act
2008, the Central Government hereby authorize the officer mentioned in column (2) of the table below as the Competent
Authority to perform the functions of such Authority under the said Act in respect of area of the Special Railway Project
mentioned in column (3) of the table below in the states of Chhattisgarh & Odisha with effect from the date of publication

Now, it is should be read as –
In exercise of power conferred by clause 7A of section 2 of The Railway Act 1989, the Central Government hereby
authorize the officer mentioned in column (2) of the table below as the Competent Authority to perform the functions
of such Authority under the said Act in respect of area of the Special Railway Project mentioned in column (3) of the
table below in the states of Chhattisgarh & Odisha with effect from the date of publication of this notification of the
official Gazette.
