The Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has issued notification S.O. 4858(E) on October 22, 2025, in New Delhi. Exercising the powers conferred by clause (7A) of section 2 of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the central Government authorizes the Sub-divisional officer, Tehsil Kishangarh-Renwal, District Jaipur, Rajasthan, as competent authority to perform the functions under the said Act in respect of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor project within the state of Rajasthan. This authorization is effective from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. The reference number for this notification is [F. No. 2025/LML-II/12/1/WC/2507]. B. K. New Delhi, the 22nd October, 2025
S.O. 4858(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of section 2 of the Railways Act, 1989
(24 of 1989),(hereinafter referred to as the said Act),the central Government hereby authorises the officer mentioned in
column(1) of the Table below as competent authority to perform the functions of such authority, under the said Act in
respect of the special Railway project mentioned in Column(2) of the Table below in the state of Rajasthan with effect
from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
