NOTIFICATION
Jaipur, the 11th June, 2026
S.O. 2998(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of section -2 of the Railways (Amendment)
Act 2008 (11 of 2008), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officer mentioned in column (2) of the table below
as "Competent Authority" to perform the functions as such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of
publication of this notification in the official Gazette in respect of the Special Railway Project of "Doubling between
Merta Road-Bikaner section (172.72 km) of North Western Railway" in the state of Rajasthan relating to the sub-
division mentioned in column (3), district mentioned in column (4) of the said table for the public purpose of execution,
maintenance, management and operation of such Special Railway Project.
