NOTIFICATION
New Delhi the 23rd September, 2015
No. 17020/6/2015-SCD.VI.—A National Committee, to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar under the Chairmanship of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India had been formed
and notified on 30.05.2015. In pursuance of the decision of the National Committee on Executive
Committee was to be constituted. Accordingly, an Executive Committee is hereby constituted by the
Government of India as under:-
1. Minister of Home Affairs } Co-chairpersons
2. Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment }
3. Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Member
4. Minister of State (Social Justice and Empowerment) Member
5. Dr. Narendra Jadhav Member
6. Shri Milind Kamble Member
7. Secretary, Ministry of Finance Member
8. Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Member
9. Secretary, Department of Higher Education Member
10. Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment Member Secretary
2. The mandate of the Executive Committee will be to implement the decisions of National
Committee. The Executive Committee shall also study the various ideas and suggestions received
from the members of the National Committee and shall decide on their appropriate implementation
thereof.
3. The tenure of the Executive Committee will be co-terminus with Commemoration period.
