दकए गए मआु विे के भुगतान के प्रयोिनों के जलए आधार अजधप्रमाणन की अनुमजत िेती ह:ै
बिते दक जिस व्यजक्त के पास आधार संख्या नहीं ह,ै उसे सक्षम प्राजधकारी की संतुजि के अनुरूप पहचान के वैकजल्पक
और व्यवहायग साधन प्रस्ट्तुत करने पर मआु विे का भगु तान दकया िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th May, 2025
S.O. 2370(E).— Whereas, the Central Government under rule 3 of the Aadhaar Authentication for Good
Governance (Social Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020 allows Aadhaar Authentication on a voluntary basis
by requesting entities, in the interest of good governance, promoting ease of living of residents and enabling better
access to service for them;
And whereas, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways submitted a proposal as required under rule 4
of the said rules, to the Central Government in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, which vide
O.M No 13(2)/2020-EG-II(Vol-II) dated the 6th March, 2025 had allowed Aadhaar authentication for the purpose of
usage of digital platforms to ensure good governance in respect of certain services provided online to the citizens.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of rules 3 and 5 of the Aadhar Authentication for Good Governance (Social
Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020, the Central Government herby allows the Aadhar Authentication for
the purposes of payment of compensation deposited under section 3H of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of
1956):
Provided that the person who does not hold an Aadhar number shall be paid compensation on production
of alternate and viable means of identification to the satisfaction of the competent authority.
2. This notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
