AQ/SUR-TGP-UMD/SPL/2023/Addendum-I] जववेक क मार ग प्ता, म ख्य प्रिासजनक अजधकारी (जनमाजण) MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (Central Railway) NOTIFICATION (Addendum required in already published E-Gazette Notification No. 240847) Mumbai, the 20th April, 2023 S.O 1830(E)—In exercise of the powers conferred of Section 20A of the Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which has been given in schedule annexed here to, is required for purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely “Solapur – Tuljapur - Osmanabad New Line” in the district of Osmanabad in the State of Maharashtra, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section (1) of section 20D of the said Act. Each such objection shall in writing to the competent authority i.e. the competent authority shall be determined by the Sub Divisional Officer Osmanabad, District Osmanabad Maharashtra and the grounds within it and the competent authority shall give the objector the opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] practitioner and may, after hearing such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections.
