Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) including Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL),
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. have assured the
public that the availability of essential petroleum products, including petrol, diesel and Liquefied
Petroleum Gas (LPG), remains normal and uninterrupted across Goa.
In a press release issued today addressing the concerns regarding fuel availability, Shri
Madhurendra K Pandey, State Level Coordinator, OMCs, Goa, said that the overall supply
position in the State continues to remain stable and adequate, with all supply channels
functioning efficiently.
“The entire fuel supply chain, from terminals and depots to retail outlets, is operating smoothly
without any disruption. Fuel stocks are being continuously monitored, and replenishment
activities are progressing seamlessly across all locations in Goa,” said Shri Pandey, who is also
the Divisional Head, IOCL, Goa.
In the release, he said that LPG supplies to domestic consumers are being prioritised and
continue to remain normal throughout the State. “The situation is under close watch to ensure
uninterrupted delivery of LPG cylinders to all consumers,” he added.
According to the OMCs, close coordination is being maintained across logistics, stock movement
and retail operations to ensure seamless fuel availability across the region.
Appealing to the public to maintain calm, the companies have urged the consumers to avoid
panic buying. The OMCs have also advised the public to rely only on official communications
issued by the companies or government authorities for accurate and verified information
regarding fuel availability.
