This change was made via Notification DoR.LIC.No.S7704/16.13.300/2025-26 dated January 12, 2026, and published in the Gazette of India (Part III - Section 4) on February 03, 2026. The name alterations are as follows:
1. Assam Gramin Vikash Bank is now Assam Gramin Bank.
2. Chhattisgarh Rajya Gramin Bank is now Chhattisgarh Gramin Bank.
3. Jharkhand Rajya Gramin Bank is now Jharkhand Gramin Bank.
4. Kerala Gramin Bank is now Kerala Grameena Bank.
5. Puduvai Bharathiyar Grama Bank is now Puducherry Grama Bank.
6. Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank is now Haryana Gramin Bank.

Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934
The names of the following six Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) have been altered in
the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 vide Notification
DoR.LIC.No.S7704/16.13.300/2025-26 dated January 12, 2026 and published in the
