Short title and commencement - (1) These Scheme may be called the Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victims (Amendment) Scheme, 2026. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victims Scheme, 2025, in paragraph 1, in sub-paragraph (1), for the words “Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victims Scheme”, the words, brackets and letters “Prime Minister - Road Accident Victims’ Hospitalisation and Assured Treatment (PM-RAHAT) Scheme” shall be substituted.
