(2) यह रािपत्र में उनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th February, 2026
S.O. 952(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 162 read with sub-section (4) of section 215 of
the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Central Government hereby makes the following Scheme, to amend the
Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victims Scheme, 2025, namely: ––
1. Short title and commencement - (1) These Scheme may be called the Cashless Treatment of Road Accident
Victims (Amendment) Scheme, 2026.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victims Scheme, 2025, in paragraph 1, in sub-paragraph (1), for
the words “Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victims Scheme”, the words, brackets and letters “Prime Minister -
Road Accident Victims’ Hospitalisation and Assured Treatment (PM-RAHAT) Scheme” shall be substituted.
