Department/1582:— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 50 of The Delhi Council for Physiotherapy and
Occupational Therapy Act, 1997 (Delhi Act No. 07 of 1997), the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of
Delhi is pleased to amend part of Rule No. 15.6 of the Delhi Council for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy
Rules, 2014, as under:—
In Rule 15.6, for the words “Persons qualifying from other states of the country having statutory registration
with the respective State Councils for PTOT (wherever these exist) can be registered with DCPTOT after obtaining
the NOC from the previous Council”, the following shall be substituted, namely:—
“Persons qualifying from other States of the Country having statutory registration with the respective State
Councils for Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy (wherever these exist) shall be eligible for registration with the
Delhi Council for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy after submission of a self-certification by the person
concerned and no additional undertaking/approval is required to be submitted to the Delhi Council for Physiotherapy
and Occupational Therapy.”
