**Legal Basis:** Section 3 and Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20.
**Amendment:** Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Export Policy, 2018 is amended, specifically concerning ITC HS Code 14011000 (Bamboo Charcoal).
**Policy Change:** The export policy for Bamboo Charcoal is amended to "Free," subject to the following conditions:
1. Bamboo Charcoal must be made from bamboo obtained from legal sources.
2. A Certificate of Origin (COO) is required, proving that the bamboo used for making the charcoal was obtained from legal sources.
3. The COO must be issued by the concerned Range Forest Officer of the State Forest Department from where the bamboo was procured.
**Effect of Notification:** Export of Bamboo Charcoal made from legally sourced bamboo is permitted freely, conditional on compliance with the policy requirements outlined above.
