S.O. (E). In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), read with Paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby makes following amendment to the Notification No. 31/2015-20 dated 14.09.2020 relating to export of onion with immediate effect. 2. Export of Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishnapuram Onions against Serial No 52 of Chapter 7, ITC (HS) Export Policy, 2018 shall be allowed for export upto quantity of 10,000 MT each, subject to the following conditions: Export of Bangalore Rose Onions |. The export shipment of Bangalore Rose Onion shall be allowed only through Chennai port and export to be completed by 31% March, 2021. An exporter shall have to get a certificate from the Horticulture Commissioner, Government of Karnataka certifying the item and the quantity of Bangalore Rose Onion to be exported. x The office of Additional DGFT, Bangalore shall monitor the total quantity being allowed for exports and issue registration certificate based on the quantity of Bangalore Rose Onion allowed for export by Horticulture Commissioner, Government of Karnataka. The Customs Authorities at the Chennai port will allow export of Bangalore Rose Onion on the basis of Certificate from Horticulture Commissioner and registration certificate from Office of Additional DGFT, Bangalore. wThe export shipment of Krishnapuram Onion shall be allowed only through Chennai ie port and export to be completed by 31% March, 2021. An exporter shall have to get a certificate from the Assistant Director, Horticulture Kadapa, Government of Andhra Pradesh certifying the quantity of Krishnapuram Onion for export purpose. The certificate shall be registered by the exporter at the Office of Zonal Additional DGFT, Chennai. The office of Zonal Additional DGFT, Chennai shall monitor the total quantity being allowed for exports and issue registration certificate based on the quantity of Krishnapuram Onion issued for export by Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Customs Authorities at the Chennai port will allow export of Krishnapuram Onion on the basis of Certificate from Assistant Director, Horticulture Kadapa, Government of Andhra Pradesh and registration certificate from Office of Additional DGFT, Chennai submitted by the exporter. 3.
