(2) These rules shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. In the Schedule to the Central Information Commission, Group ‘A’ posts (Under Secretary, Senior Principal Private Secretary and Principal Private Secretary) Recruitment Rules, 2016, against serial number 1 relating to the post of Under Secretary in column(11), under the sub-heading ‘Promotion’, after Note 2, the following Note shall be inserted, namely:- “Note 3.-The eligibility service shall continue to be six years for persons holding the feeder posts on regular basis.” [F.
